Custom Bokeh Exploration
This exploration of the physics of light and camera lens apertures was built around a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T in candy purple with white walls. This experiment was meant to test the bounds and effects of a custom aperture shape, in this case the iconic R/T logo, with a custom star-like cloud of point lights acting as the background to see the impact and result of the trial.
Point light cloud, no depth of field.
Depth of field added, standard circular aperture.
R/T cutout aperture with a more narrow depth of field to emphasize.
Lastly, a much more aggressive, very stark showcase of the effect of the custom R/T aperture on the bokeh.
